In May of 2001, I joined my friend Sarah Sohm, and her boyfriend Dylan Hart, on an epic
voyage to China with our friend Mimi Yang, who was going over there to visit her parents.
I flew from Boston, Mimi from New York, and Sarah and Dylan from San Francisco; we all
went on Air Canada and rendezvoused in Vancouver to make the trip to Beijing together.
(Worked the same way in reverse; it was cool to be able to fly together, and somehow this
worked out to be the cheapest option for all of us!) Anyway, we had a splendid time. I took over 450 pictures and video clips on my spiffy new Canon S300 digital camera; some of them are posted here in the four galleries below. Click through 'em all for the full experience.
