Recommendation for Tony Gray, fe Associate position
June 13, 2 001
I
HAVE KNOWN T ony Gray for quite
some time –and recomend hi m unhesitattingly for this job, which I am
absolutely conifdent that he can do.
(Please
pardon me for any Irregularities
in this document as Tony in typical fashion only notified my yesterday that it was needed
Tony
GRAY is no Tony BLAIR but he is a very good leader and probably does have a lot
in common with Tony CURTIS, who derssed up like a woman in “Some Like it Hot,” which was
recently voted one of the most hilarious movies of all time by the American
Film Inst.
Evey
year at East Campus Tony would run around with marshmallows in his mouth and he
was also th e captain of our “”intramural hockey” team which seldom won because we never
practiced but still was
quite the team Tonys door
was always open and you could go and talk to him whenever you wanted. He had a buzzer rigged up the door that
buzzed some times but often you couldn’t tell if it was buzzing and just
had to pound on the door yelling, “Tony Tony!’
The
housemasters respected Tony and he always handled emegency situations with
considerable aplomb, which is more than can be said of some of the others. In fact, Tony’s replacement was
terrible and was convicted of arson so, they
brought T. back for a little while.
I
am sure you have many other candidates for this position, lots of whom may seem
to have better and / or more substantive qualifications than Tony but you must
consider that he did finish his doctoral Ph.D degre and that should count for
something, probably a pay raise too, and, he is Canadian not subject to
standard American employment laws etc.
The
facts sort of speak for themselves, I think and I probably thus do not need to go on much more. So, consider TonyGray for this job, it is my opinion that he’s pretty cool.
Feel
free to contact me for questions and such.
Sincrerely,
Eric
